Family happiness – a healthy baby girl!
Case Study: housewife, age 40, childless
The patient had wanted a child for years. Her left ovary had been removed because of a cyst; the right one was full of adhesions. Her gynecologist said her chances of bearing a child were near hopeless. Inflammation of the small intestine and constipation were not noted, despite the fact that nourishment is transmitted to the sexual organs through the small intestine. After two months of the F.X. Mayr Cure along with her husband, the patient missed her period. Nine months later, she gave birth to a healthy girl baby.
The Austrian avant-garde thinker of naturopathy and physician Dr. F.X. Mayr founded the internationally acknowledged F.X. Mayr Cure and the International Society of Mayr Physicians in 1960.
His ingenious medical concepts, especially his natural bowel cleansing and pro-active health care, were far ahead of his time. Since the end of the 20th century, a growing number of physicians, both domestic and international, have been influenced by his practical approach. Hundreds of thousands of people have already been successfully treated by the F.X. Mayr Cure, which helped them to improve the quality of their lives in a sustainable way.
Although he worked long ago, his influence and insights still flourish today. So who was this man who preferred the body’s self-healing powers over modern drugs and medical devices?
Dr. Mayr was born in 1875 in the city of Gröbming, Austria. Nature, an important influence throughout his childhood, shaped his future medical career and inspirations. From a very young age, while working at the family-owned farm, he observed the huge difference in the defecation of cows that grazed in nature compared to the ones that spent the whole year confined in an enclosure. He deduced that grazing on land is a key element for healthy digestion. This key finding became a fundamental cornerstone for his future medical discoveries.
Mayr’s revolutionary belief shaped his entire professional life. Further studies gave him the opportunity to create guidelines for an “optimal healthy digestive system.” He conducted detailed examinations of patients to identify potential disorders due to deviations from the defined abdominal measurements, postures, and skin conditions.
Body & Abdominal posture findings by Dr. Mayr related to the different lifestyles of the individual.
By following Mayr’s treatments, a patient’s disturbed intestinal system was cured, cleaned, and regenerated.
Natural solution can beat drugs!
Case Study: owner of a printing business, age 58, signs of a “Bass Drum Player Posture”
The patient’s skin was flaccid, and he had been in hospital for three weeks with symptoms of angina, chest pain, fear of death, and a feeling of impending doom. There had been no improvement despite intense drug therapy and strict bed rest. Since the attacks were triggered by elevation of the diaphragm, Dr. Erich Rauch tried manual abdominal treatments in the area where opium injections had been prescribed. After a few minutes, all symptoms disappeared completely. The patient underwent an F.X. Mayr Cure after being released from the hospital. His posture normalized, his diaphragm lowered (almost 10 cm), and he had no more attacks. Completely symptom-free ever since, and without using any drugs, the patient feels “born again.”
The more he practiced, the more Dr. Mayr’s popularity rose. He gave lectures at the Charité in Berlin, traveled to the United States, and gave scientific presentations about his studies, including at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. During his lifetime, Mayr treated many famous individuals, including the German Chancellor Konrad Adenauer, the American industrialist Henry Ford, and the financierBaron de Rothschild. However, he never hesitated to treat local farmers and servants as well.
Despite his success and impressive new medical discoveries, Dr. Mayr struggled to prevail over the dominant doctrine and conventional medical community. In 1960, he founded the International Society of Mayr Physicians. Mayr engaged in constant intellectual exchange with his students until he died at the age of 90 years.
I personally believe that in health tourism, providers with only one core program signal responsibility and competence. We don’t accept the status quo. Instead, in every step we take, we are questioning the status quo and thinking outside the box.
The F.X. Mayr Cure made me a believer during my first stay at the Lanserhof Lans (Austria) in 2008. The cure is efficient, constantly evolving, and understands today’s negative internal / external factors such as noise, stress, food intoxication, and air pollution. It aligns with our philosophy, emphasizing the company’s responsibility, providing a holistic sustainable approach to health, and promoting a boost in people’s quality of life. This holistic approach can be seen in the Mayr philosophy and its implementation by globally leading medical spa providers, such as the Lanserhof, VIVAMAYR, and The Original F.X. Mayr Health Center.
